If you're an avid golfer and looking to get in a relaxing round while in the area, there are some pretty picturesque courses to visit.
Cambridge Cliffs Golf Club is a 9 hole course with beautiful views of the bay of fundy. Watch the Eagles soar above, catch the tide coming in or going out and try to try your best to focus on the course rather than the views.
The Links of Penn Hills is a challenging 18 hole course, located along the Shubenacadie River. You are sure to see eagles soaring along the river. The course has a good mix of woods and open play.
It may not have a direct water view, but there is no shortage of water holes on this 18 hole golf course at Fox Hollow Golf Club.
Another 9 hole course in the area, is this picturesque course known as Coyote Hill Golf Course which provides a quiet, relaxing round for all golfers. What was once a dairy farm property has since been turned into a beautiful course, offering both flat and hills with some wonderful views.
Lost Creek Golf Club is an 18 hole course, said to be "challenging-yet-approachable", situated on Beaver Bank Lake. Although it is not located in Hants County, its within a 33 minute drive of our cottage location.
